Day by Day Itinerary
Your 5 Days Serengeti Migration Safari Tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha at around 7:00 AM.
Drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with breathtaking landscapes and Maasai villages. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting wildlife such as:
- Lions, leopards, and cheetahs
- Elephants and buffalo
- Grazing wildebeests and zebras
- Hippos and crocodiles near rivers
Dinner and overnight stay will be at a lodge or camp in the Serengeti.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day safari focused on following the migration herds. The Serengeti’s open plains provide incredible opportunities to witness predator-prey interactions and large concentrations of wildlife.
A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. Continue the afternoon game drive, exploring different areas to maximize sightings. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Today’s game drives focus on the migration hotspots within the northern or central Serengeti, depending on the season. Wildlife highlights may include:
- Massive herds of wildebeest and zebras
- Predators stalking the herds, including lions and cheetahs

- Unique bird species native to the Serengeti
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before resuming the afternoon game drive. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
On day four, you have the option of an early hot air balloon safari (additional cost) over the Serengeti plains to view the migration from above—a breathtaking perspective.
Alternatively, enjoy another full-day game drive, exploring different regions to see wildlife activity and seasonal river crossings. A picnic lunch will be provided in the park, and you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
