4 Days Tanzania Private Safari Itinerary

Day by Day Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Kilipori Safaris representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.
The transfer takes approximately 1–1.5 hours (50 km). After checking in, you'll receive a short safari briefing covering your itinerary, wildlife expectations, and departure time for the following morning.

After breakfast at approximately 7:30 AM, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a drive of about 2.5 hours.
Arriving around 10:30 AM, begin your first private game drive through landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, while lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species are frequently seen.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari until around 5:00 PM.
Experience: Elephant encounters, baobab landscapes, wildlife photography.
Following an early breakfast at 7:00 AM, travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park, one of the world's greatest wildlife destinations.
The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours, with beautiful viewpoints and wildlife sightings along the route.
After entering the Serengeti, enjoy an afternoon game drive where your Kilipori Safaris guide searches for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hyenas, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras.
Experience: Scenic drive, first Serengeti game drive, predator tracking.
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti when wildlife is most active. This is an excellent time to observe predators returning from the night's hunt and herbivores grazing across the plains.
After breakfast, continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending approximately 600 metres into the famous Ngorongoro Crater.
Spend several hours exploring the crater floor, home to one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino.
Later in the afternoon, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Experience: Sunrise game drive, Ngorongoro Crater safari, Big Five viewing.
After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving around 1:00 PM.
Depending on your international flight schedule, you may enjoy lunch or a short stop for souvenir shopping before continuing to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Your private transfer to the airport takes approximately 1–1.5 hours, and we recommend arriving at least 3 hours before departure.
