Breakfast & Departure
After breakfast, we leave Karatu and drive toward the Serengeti through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey toward Central Serengeti generally takes around 4–5 hours of driving, excluding wildlife stops, photography and comfort breaks.

Ngorongoro Highlands & Scenic Drive
We cross the highlands and continue toward the Serengeti plains, with opportunities to appreciate the changing landscape from forested crater highlands to open grassland. The route introduces the wider ecosystem before reaching the main Serengeti wildlife areas.

Central Serengeti Game Drive
As we enter Central Serengeti, we begin game viewing around the Seronera area. Resident lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and large herbivore populations make this an important wildlife section before we continue north toward the migration zone.

Breakfast & Morning Game Drive
After breakfast, we begin a morning game drive through Central Serengeti while gradually travelling north. The route allows us to look for resident wildlife as well as signs of migrating wildebeest and zebra moving toward the northern plains.

Journey North
The drive from Central Serengeti toward Northern Serengeti can take approximately 4–5 hours depending on the exact route and wildlife activity. This is not continuous driving time because we use the journey as a game-viewing route, with stops when wildlife conditions make them worthwhile.

Northern Serengeti Arrival
We reach the Northern Serengeti and begin checking current herd movement. Our guide uses recent field information and observations to identify suitable areas around Kogatende and the Mara River rather than assuming the herds will be in one fixed location.

Breakfast & Early Game Drive
After breakfast, we head into the Northern Serengeti for an early Mara River safari. Early departures allow us to take advantage of cooler conditions and monitor wildlife movement before the day's heat increases.

Mara River Monitoring
Our guide checks suitable viewing areas near the Mara River based on current herd positions, tracks and local conditions. If wildebeest are gathering near a crossing area, we wait patiently from an appropriate position rather than driving directly into the animals' path.

Wildlife Exploration
The Northern Serengeti offers more than river crossings, with opportunities to see wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, elephants, lions, leopards and other wildlife. A crossing may occur without warning, may happen away from your location, or may not occur during your stay because the migration is entirely natural.

Breakfast & Early Departure
We leave after breakfast for another private game drive in the Northern Serengeti. The day's route is guided by current wildlife information rather than a fixed assumption about where the herds should be.

Following the Herds
Our driver-guide follows suitable migration areas while keeping the vehicle at a responsible distance. If the herds are near the Mara River and conditions indicate possible crossing activity, we position ourselves where we can observe without blocking the animals or interfering with other wildlife.

Extended Wildlife Viewing
We allow enough time for patient observation because wildebeest may gather at the river for hours before moving, change direction or cross at a different point. If there is no crossing activity, we continue exploring the surrounding Northern Serengeti for resident wildlife and other migration scenes.

Breakfast & Morning Game Drive
After breakfast, we continue with a full private game drive across the Northern Serengeti. We use the latest information from our guides to decide whether to revisit a migration area or explore another part of the northern ecosystem.

Migration & Predator Viewing
Large wildebeest and zebra concentrations can attract lions, hyenas and other predators, while elephants, giraffes and antelope provide additional wildlife opportunities. The exact sightings depend on natural animal movements.

Mara River Area or Alternative Wildlife Zone
If herd movement makes a Mara River viewing area promising, we spend additional time there while maintaining responsible viewing distances. Otherwise, our guide selects alternative areas where wildlife activity is stronger, avoiding unnecessary vehicle concentration.

Breakfast & Departure
After breakfast, we leave Northern Serengeti and begin the return journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive is long, generally around 5–6 hours depending on the route, road conditions and wildlife stops.

Wildlife Viewing En Route
The journey through Serengeti provides opportunities for additional game viewing along the way. Because this is both a transfer and game-viewing day, the actual travel duration can vary according to wildlife sightings and comfort stops.

Ngorongoro Crater Descent
Where timing and road conditions allow, we descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive before continuing to Karatu. The crater floor is known for high concentrations of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and other species.

Breakfast & Departure
After breakfast, we leave Karatu for Arusha, with the drive taking approximately 3–3.5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. This transfer is separate from any comfort or meal stops.

Arusha Airport & Flight to Zanzibar
We continue to the airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Flight schedules vary, so the exact departure time is arranged according to availability and the final safari plan.

Zanzibar Arrival & Transfer
On arrival in Zanzibar, you meet the arranged transfer and continue to your beach accommodation. The transfer time depends on the location of your selected hotel, with northern and eastern beach areas requiring different driving times.

Breakfast by the Coast
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your Zanzibar beach accommodation. After several days of safari travel, the morning is free for swimming, relaxing on the beach or enjoying the hotel facilities.

Beach Time
Spend the day at your own pace along Zanzibar's white-sand coastline. Optional activities can include a guided snorkeling trip, dhow experience or other water activities, depending on your interests and weather conditions.

Zanzibar Sunset
Later in the afternoon, enjoy the coastal atmosphere and sunset before returning to the hotel. Activities remain flexible so you can choose between a quiet beach day and additional experiences.

Breakfast & Free Morning
After breakfast, enjoy your final morning in Zanzibar. You can spend the remaining time relaxing by the beach, swimming or taking a final walk along the coast, depending on your departure schedule.

Optional Zanzibar Activity
If your flight time allows, we can arrange an optional short activity or local experience before departure. The timing is kept flexible to avoid rushing your final day.

Airport Transfer
At the agreed time, our team arranges your transfer to Zanzibar airport. The driving time depends on your hotel location and should be planned around your flight departure.
