3 Days July Safari from Zanzibar to Northern Serengeti for Families

Breakfast & Morning Migration Drive
After breakfast, we begin a full private game-drive day in Northern Serengeti. Rather than following a fixed route, our driver-guide uses current field conditions, recent wildlife reports and local knowledge to identify areas where migration activity is most promising.

Kogatende & Mara River Exploration
We explore the Kogatende area and suitable locations around the Mara River ecosystem. If wildebeest are gathering near a potential crossing area, we may wait patiently at a responsible viewing position, but a Mara River crossing remains a natural event and cannot be scheduled or guaranteed.

Family Picnic Lunch & Flexible Break
We take a picnic lunch and a comfortable break during the day before continuing the safari. Because this is a private Serengeti safari, we can respond to your children's needs with bathroom and stretch stops and adjust the pace rather than keeping to the timetable of a shared vehicle.

Afternoon Wildlife Viewing & Responsible River Viewing
We continue through Northern Serengeti in the afternoon, looking for wildebeest, zebra, lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and other resident wildlife. Near the Mara River, our guide keeps a responsible distance, avoids blocking animal routes and chooses viewing positions that allow natural wildlife movement.

Accommodation & Family Dinner
We return to camp after the day's game drive, giving the family time to shower, relax and enjoy dinner. The evening is also an opportunity for children to discuss what they observed with the guide and learn more about Serengeti wildlife.

Breakfast & Final Morning Game Drive
After breakfast, we set out for a final 2–3-hour game drive, depending on your confirmed flight schedule. Our guide selects the morning route according to current wildlife activity while keeping the vehicle within practical reach of Kogatende Airstrip.

Final Great Migration Search
We use the remaining safari time to search for worthwhile migration activity and other Northern Serengeti wildlife. Conditions may be different from the previous day because wildebeest herds can move considerable distances, so our focus remains on responding to what is happening that morning rather than promising a particular sighting.

Drive to Kogatende Airstrip
After the final game viewing, we continue towards Kogatende Airstrip. The driving time varies according to your camp location and the morning route; the transfer time is separate from the time spent viewing wildlife, stopping for comfort or responding to weather and road conditions.

Flight to Zanzibar & End of Safari
