Morning Transfer & Flight to Serengeti
After breakfast, we collect your family from your Arusha accommodation and transfer you to the airport for your scheduled flight to Northern Serengeti. The flight to the Kogatende area generally takes around 2–3 hours depending on the routing and any scheduled stops, with airport procedures and possible operational delays separate from flight time.
Arrival at Kogatende Airstrip
On arrival, your dedicated KiliPori Safaris driver-guide meets you with a private 4×4 safari vehicle. After collecting your luggage, you begin your first Northern Serengeti game drive, depending on the arrival time of your flight.
Afternoon Migration Game Drive
Our guide checks current field information and recent herd movement before choosing the most promising areas for the afternoon. July is an important month for the Serengeti wildebeest migration in Northern Serengeti, but wildlife movement is natural, so we never guarantee a specific herd, predator sighting or river crossing.
Camp Arrival & Family Relaxation
After the game drive, we continue to your midrange tented camp or lodge. Your family can settle into private-bathroom accommodation, enjoy dinner and relax in the camp surroundings, with a swimming pool or garden available where offered by the selected property.
