8 Days August Tanzania Private Honeymoon Safari & Zanzibar | Serengeti

Breakfast & Departure
After breakfast, we leave Karatu and travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Serengeti. The drive to Central Serengeti takes approximately 4–5 hours, excluding wildlife-viewing, photography, meal and comfort stops.

Ngorongoro Highlands
We cross the highlands before descending toward the Serengeti plains. The landscape gradually changes from the cooler forested highlands to the expansive grasslands of the Serengeti ecosystem.

Central Serengeti Game Drive
After entering Serengeti, we begin a game drive around Central Serengeti and the Seronera area. Our guide searches for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest while monitoring current migration information.

Breakfast & Morning Game Drive
After breakfast, we begin with a morning game drive before continuing toward Northern Serengeti. The journey from Central to Northern Serengeti generally takes around 4–5 hours, although the total time can vary because this is also a game-viewing route.

Following the Wildebeest
As we travel north, our guide looks for concentrations of wildebeest and zebra and monitors recent herd movements. We do not assume that the herds will be in one predetermined location because their movement changes naturally.

Northern Serengeti Arrival
We reach the Northern Serengeti and explore suitable areas around Kogatende and the Mara River according to current conditions. If the herds are close to the river, our guide identifies responsible viewing positions where we can wait without crowding wildlife or blocking potential crossing routes.

Breakfast & Early Game Drive
After breakfast, we leave early for a full day in Northern Serengeti. Our guide checks current field conditions and recent herd sightings before deciding whether to concentrate around the Mara River or another promising wildlife area.

Mara River Crossing Area
If wildebeest are gathering near the river, we position the vehicle at a suitable viewing point and wait patiently. A Mara River crossing may happen quickly, take hours to develop, occur at another section of the river or not happen during your stay.

Private Honeymoon Safari Experience
Your private vehicle allows you to remain at an interesting wildlife sighting without a group timetable. We maintain responsible viewing distances and avoid positioning the vehicle in a way that interferes with wildlife movement.

Breakfast & Final Northern Serengeti Game Drive
After breakfast, we take a final morning game drive around Northern Serengeti. Our guide uses the available time to check nearby wildlife areas based on current conditions before heading toward Kogatende Airstrip.

Kogatende Airstrip
We drive toward Kogatende Airstrip according to your scheduled flight time. The exact transfer duration depends on your accommodation location and wildlife activity along the route, so we allow sufficient time for the flight.

Flight to Zanzibar
Board your scheduled flight from Kogatende Airstrip to Zanzibar. Flying directly from Northern Serengeti avoids the long overland journey back to Arusha and gives you more time to enjoy your honeymoon on the coast.

Breakfast by the Beach
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your Zanzibar beach accommodation. After five active safari days, the morning is free for you to slow down and enjoy your honeymoon together.

Private Beach Time
Spend the day swimming, relaxing on the beach or enjoying the hotel's facilities. There is no fixed sightseeing schedule, allowing you to choose how active or relaxed you want your day to be.

Optional Couples' Activity
If you would like to explore the coast, we can arrange an optional private activity such as snorkeling, a dhow experience or another marine excursion, subject to weather and availability.

Breakfast & Leisure Morning
After breakfast, enjoy a slow morning at the beach or hotel. This day is intentionally flexible so you can enjoy private time together without the schedule of a safari.

Zanzibar Experience
You may choose an optional coastal or island activity, or simply spend the day swimming and relaxing. Any activity can be arranged according to your preferred pace and weather conditions.

Afternoon Relaxation
Return to the beach or hotel for a relaxed afternoon. Couples who prefer a quiet honeymoon day can keep the remainder of the schedule completely free.

Breakfast & Final Beach Time
Enjoy breakfast and your final morning in Zanzibar. Depending on your departure time, you can spend a few remaining hours relaxing at the hotel or by the beach.

Check-Out & Airport Transfer
After check-out, your arranged transfer takes you to Zanzibar Airport. The transfer time depends on your beach accommodation and traffic conditions.

Zanzibar Departure
