Early Breakfast and Departure
After breakfast, depart with your private guide for a full-day game drive in Northern Serengeti. We check recent herd movements before choosing the day's route, as wildebeest can change direction according to grazing conditions and rainfall.

Mara River Migration Search
Spend extended time around suitable areas of the Mara River where migrating herds may be gathering or moving along the riverbanks. A Mara River crossing is a natural event and cannot be guaranteed, so we wait patiently while maintaining a safe distance and avoiding interference with wildlife.

Full-Day Wildlife Viewing
Continue through the northern plains looking for wildebeest, zebra, elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards and other wildlife. Your private vehicle allows us to adjust the pace and spend more time at productive sightings. Return to Camp
Return to the lodge after the day's game drive and enjoy time to rest before dinner. Your guide will review current field conditions to help plan the following day's migration search.

Breakfast and Early Game Drive
After breakfast, leave camp early for another full day in Northern Serengeti. Early departures provide flexibility to reach active wildlife areas before the day's heat increases.

Northern Serengeti Great Migration
Follow current herd movements across the northern Serengeti landscape. If wildebeest are near the Mara River, your guide will select suitable viewing areas and allow enough time for natural behaviour without positioning the vehicle in a way that blocks animals.

Mara River and Predator Viewing
Continue exploring areas where migrating herds may attract predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs. Wildlife sightings depend on natural conditions, and our guide adjusts the route according to what is happening in the field rather than promising a particular sighting.

Return to Camp
Return to camp after the full-day safari for relaxation and dinner. This additional full day gives you more time to respond to changing migration movements instead of depending on a single river-crossing opportunity.

Early Breakfast and Final Game Drive
After breakfast, begin your final morning game drive in Northern Serengeti. Our guide will check the latest wildlife activity and choose a suitable route for your final opportunity to see wildebeest, zebra, elephants and other wildlife.

Departure from Northern Serengeti
After the game drive, begin the road journey from Northern Serengeti toward Arusha. The drive is approximately 8–10 hours, depending on the exact starting location, road conditions and stops. This driving time excludes wildlife viewing, lunch, comfort breaks and weather-related delays.

Travel through the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania as you leave the Serengeti ecosystem. We keep the journey comfortable with planned stops for refreshments, lunch and rest along the way.

Arrival in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha in the evening, where your 4-day August Northern Serengeti Mara River migration safari ends. Our guide will drop you at your hotel or another agreed location in Arusha.
