Breakfast & Ngorongoro Departure
After breakfast, we drive approximately 30–45 minutes from Karatu toward the Ngorongoro Crater before descending for a morning wildlife experience.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
The crater offers opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras and other wildlife within a compact ecosystem. We allow time for wildlife viewing while following responsible park regulations.

Crater to Serengeti
After the crater experience and lunch, we continue toward Central Serengeti. The drive takes approximately 3–4 hours, excluding wildlife, meal and comfort stops.

Early Morning Game Drive
After breakfast, we begin a morning game drive through Central Serengeti, using current wildlife activity to determine the most productive route north.

Migration Route & Wildlife Viewing
We continue toward Northern Serengeti while treating the transfer as a safari rather than a simple drive. Depending on conditions, we can stop for wildlife sightings and photographic opportunities along the route.

Arrival in Northern Serengeti
The journey from Central to Northern Serengeti generally requires around 3–4 hours of driving, although the total time can be longer because of game-viewing and comfort stops. By afternoon, we reach the principal migration zone.

Breakfast & Early Game Drive
After breakfast, we leave camp for a full-day Northern Serengeti Great Migration safari. Our guide checks current field conditions and recent herd movement before selecting the day's viewing areas.

Mara River Area
We focus on suitable areas around the Mara River, where wildebeest may gather during the August migration period. A Mara River crossing is possible but cannot be predicted or guaranteed, so we focus on observing natural movement rather than expecting a scheduled crossing.

Patient Wildlife Viewing
If herds are near a potential crossing area, we allow sufficient time to wait patiently. Our private 4×4 remains positioned responsibly, avoiding crowding, blocking wildlife routes or interfering with animals approaching the river.

Breakfast & Migration Tracking
After breakfast, we set out again with flexibility built into the day's schedule. Our guide uses current field observations to decide whether to remain near the Mara River or explore other parts of Northern Serengeti.

Wildebeest & Wildlife Viewing
We follow the movement of wildebeest and other wildlife across the northern plains. Predator sightings may occur around large herds, but wildlife behaviour remains natural and no specific sighting can be guaranteed.

Afternoon Mara River Safari

Breakfast & Morning Game Drive
After breakfast, we enjoy a final morning game drive in Northern Serengeti before beginning the journey south. Our departure timing can be adjusted according to wildlife activity and current road conditions.

Northern to Central Serengeti
We travel through the Serengeti toward Central Serengeti, with approximately 3–4 hours of driving depending on the route. This excludes game-viewing, photography, meal and comfort stops.

Central Serengeti to Karatu
After continuing south, the journey from Central Serengeti toward Karatu takes approximately 3–4 hours of driving. We allow practical stops along the way rather than treating the route as a continuous transfer.

Breakfast & Crater Departure
After breakfast, we travel from Karatu toward the Ngorongoro Crater, approximately 30–45 minutes by road before beginning the planned crater experience.

Final Wildlife Drive
We descend into the crater for a final wildlife experience, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras and other species. Our private vehicle allows a comfortable pace while maintaining responsible wildlife-viewing practices.

Ngorongoro to Arusha
After the crater drive and lunch, we begin the return journey to Arusha. Allow approximately 4–5 hours of driving, excluding meal, comfort and road-related stops.

 End of Safari – Arusha
Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening depending on the crater schedule and road conditions. Your 7-day August 2027 luxury Serengeti migration safari ends with a private drop-off in Arusha.
