Today is a key highlight of your 6 days couples Kilimanjaro trek. You ascend to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp.

This “climb high, sleep low” strategy strengthens your body for summit success. Couples often describe this day as challenging but deeply bonding as you support each other through altitude changes.

One of the most exciting moments of your journey is climbing the famous Barranco Wall together. With guidance from your expert team, you safely ascend while enjoying breathtaking views.

Your summit journey begins at midnight. Slowly and steadily, you climb through darkness and sunrise toward Stella Point and Uhuru Peak (5,895 m).

Standing together at the summit is the emotional highlight of your Machame Route couples Kilimanjaro experience. After celebration, you descend back through Barafu Camp and continue to Mweka Camp.
