Your private couples Kilimanjaro climb begins in a lush rainforest filled with birds, monkeys, and towering trees. Walking hand in hand, you enjoy a gentle pace designed for bonding and acclimatization.
The day ends at Machame Camp, where your private couple tent is set up by KiliPori Safaris. This is your first night together on the mountain, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Leaving the rainforest behind, you enter open moorland with wide volcanic views. The air becomes cooler and clearer as you climb higher together.
You arrive at Shira Camp, where couples enjoy peaceful scenery and time to rest. Your guides ensure a steady pace for safe acclimatization and shared comfort.

Today is a key highlight of your 6 days couples Kilimanjaro trek. You ascend to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp.
This “climb high, sleep low” strategy strengthens your body for summit success. Couples often describe this day as challenging but deeply bonding as you support each other through altitude changes.

Your summit journey begins at midnight. Slowly and steadily, you climb through darkness and sunrise toward Stella Point and Uhuru Peak (5,895 m).
Standing together at the summit is the emotional highlight of your Machame Route couples Kilimanjaro experience. After celebration, you descend back through Barafu Camp and continue to Mweka Camp.
