Following breakfast, we journey 80 km north into the Central Serengeti Seronera region. The 2.5-hour drive serves as an active game drive, passing through open grasslands where giraffes, topis, and Thomson's gazelles frequently graze alongside the road.

Kopje Exploration in Seronera

In the afternoon, we explore the iconic granite kopjes, which rise up to 30 meters above the plains. These rock formations offer exceptional vantage points for spotting resting leopards and resident lion prides, providing exciting photographic opportunities for parents and children.

Serengeti Evening

Mid-morning, we begin the 140 km drive southeast toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, taking about 3.5 hours excluding game viewing stops. The road winds upward from warm savannahs to the cool, forested crater rim at an elevation of 2,200 meters.

Crater Rim Arrival
